Job Title: Nursery Chef

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Chef to join our team at Stafffinders. As a Nursery Chef, you will be responsible for creating balanced meals and snacks that promote healthy eating habits for children at a nursery based in Glasgow.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare nutritious, balanced meals and snacks tailored to the needs of the young children, ensuring they meet dietary guidelines and accommodate any food allergies or special dietary requirements.
  • Create menus that promote healthy eating habits, fostering a positive relationship with food from an early age.
  • Work closely with the nursery staff to ensure that the children's dietary needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Cook in an educational or healthcare setting.
  • PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certification.
  • Level 2 Food Safety certificate.
  • Ability to adjust menus as needed to accommodate specific dietary requirements.
What We Offer:
  • An hourly rate of £16, with payments made weekly and holiday pay accrued.
  • A variety of daytime weekday shifts to choose from, allowing you to select a schedule that best fits your availability.
