Application Security Product Lead

Proprius Recruitment is seeking an experienced Application Security Product Manager to lead our client's Product Security team. As a key partner between Cyber Security and technical teams, you will promote adoption of security best practices and modern methods, helping teams learn from mistakes earlier in the development life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive leadership of a technical and security-minded team.
- Help build the team and focus on working with platform teams to improve controls.
- Prepare, support, and influence training and development material to support Security Champions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure CISO guidelines are met.
Requirements:
- Analytical mind with the ability to challenge and seek data-driven opportunities to improve.
- Understanding of AWS, cloud, and security development concepts, including security tooling in CI/CD pipelines.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join a financial institution and contribute to the development of a new function called Product Security. You will work closely with the Cyber Security team and other technical teams to ensure that DevOps chapters build secure applications that can be trusted in the production environment.

Working Arrangements:
