Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at WR Engineering Recruiters. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the industrial engineering and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs and manufacturers in the automotive, materials handling, machine builders, and industrial engineering industries.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Provide technical support and product training to customers, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to develop and implement sales plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and improve customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Essential Qualification: HNC/HND or degree in a mechanical engineering subject.
  • Sales experience: field sales experience preferred, but we are open to highly motivated individuals looking for a break into technical field sales.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the industrial engineering and manufacturing sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Full UK driving licence.
