Job Summary

Culina Group is seeking a skilled and experienced LGV Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transport department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the transport office at the start of shift and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Adhere to company rules and procedures, including health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department and ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
  • Make deliveries to customers' premises, acting in a professional manner at all times and ensuring proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
  • Communicate regularly with the Transport Office and Customer Services to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Observe and adhere to site procedures at each delivery point and ensure correct completion of a defect report as and when required.
  • Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.

Requirements

  • Possession of LGV Class C+E Licence and valid DCPC.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Adaptable and methodical approach to work/training, with a conscientious and reliable attitude.
  • Professional and approachable demeanor, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
