We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Porter/Handyman to join our team at Hungry Horse. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and the hotel at night. You will be the first point of contact for late arrival check-ins and walk-ins, and will ensure guest and business safety, and security is top priority at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit
  • Be the first point of contact for late arrival check-ins and walk-ins
  • Ensure guest and business safety, and security is top priority at all times
  • In the event of a fire, evacuate all guests and team from the business safely and quickly
  • Answer telephone enquiries and deal with customer complaints to ensure everyone enjoys their stay

  • A passion for giving great service and making sure every customer receives a warm welcome

Working Hours:

Working hours are between 11pm and 7am for the Night Porter role, and between 9am and 5pm for the Handyman role, with flexible working shifts between Monday to Sunday around 20hours per week.
