Respiratory Registrar

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Registrar to join our team at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full-time post that offers a comprehensive induction course, regular weekly teaching, and a supportive environment for professional development.
The post includes commitment to two general Respiratory clinics per week, participation in the current on-call Middle grade rota for General medicine, and supervision of junior medical staff. You will have the opportunity to enhance and further strengthen Respiratory services at CHFT, working closely with our existing ST3+ trainees.
We encourage research and audit projects, and the Trust runs ALS and APLS courses. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in Respiratory medicine, while contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the Respiratory wards at Calderdale Royal Hospital, including ward rounds and supervision of junior medical staff.
- Commit to two general Respiratory clinics per week.
- Participate in the current on-call Middle grade rota for General medicine.
- Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to their professional development.
