Job Title: Warehouse Operative - Part Time

Job Type: Permanent Part Time

Hours of Work: 25 Hours Per Week

Salary: Up to £14.05 per hour

Location: DPD Carlisle - Unit 1, Bacard Way, Kingmoor Park North, Carlisle, CA6 4FD

Shift Pattern: Various Shift Patterns

Hours of Work: 04:00am start

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at DPD Group UK LTD. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient movement of our parcels in our depots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload, scan, sort and load parcels to ensure their journey through our network is safe and swift.
  • Handle large/heavy items, weighing up to 25kg, and lift, load and carry them as required.
  • Work across various areas of the warehouse, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ensure a high level of attention to detail, maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Passion and self-determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eye for detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across various areas of the warehouse.
  • Ability to lift, load and carry items as required.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a warehouse environment is advantageous.
