Job Overview
The successful candidate will oversee the setup and installation of robotic systems, ranging from single units to complex multi-robot configurations.
The Automation Robotics Engineer will be tasked with programming robotic paths, establishing program frameworks, and executing offline programming.
Additionally, responsibilities include configuring robot inputs and outputs, managing welding interfaces, and programming calls, along with working on robot schematics and configurations.
The role requires proficiency in interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications, as well as procuring necessary materials for robotic systems.
You will also be responsible for testing and validating robotic programs to ensure optimal functionality and performance, as well as developing programs using various programming languages.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess at least an HNC level qualification or equivalent in manufacturing, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.
With a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in robotic programming, particularly with systems from ABB, Kuka, and Fanuc, candidates should also have a solid understanding of PLC operations.
A strong grasp of basic robot programming flow and familiarity with ISO218-1 and ISO218-2 standards is essential.
Experience in robotic spot welding, MIG welding, and material handling is also highly desirable.
