Milestone Infrastructure is seeking a dedicated Site Agent to oversee our projects in Oxfordshire. In this role, you will be integral to our Projects division, which is committed to executing significant undertakings in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the site team, including Milestone personnel and subcontractors, to ensure successful project completion.
  • Monitor site operations against established timelines, reporting any discrepancies in performance or delays.
  • Execute all tasks with diligence to maximize on-site planning and supervision.
  • Maintain thorough documentation through site photographs, daily logs, and as-built drawings.
  • Conduct daily briefings on-site and oversee subcontractor task briefings.
  • Ensure all work activities comply with the Works Specification and adhere to safety protocols, promoting an Injury Free Environment (IFE).
  • Participate in client meetings to provide updates on project delivery and address any issues that arise.
  • Develop and maintain the contract program.
  • Communicate formally with clients and subcontractors, including Early Warnings and instructions.
  • Assist in the tendering process, including the evaluation and selection of subcontract packages.
  • Take responsibility for safety and environmental compliance within your area, ensuring timely closure of all identified actions.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in civil engineering and workforce management, particularly in earthworks, drainage, structures, and highways.
  • Strong commercial awareness to facilitate effective cost management.
  • Exceptional team leadership and management skills to maximize team performance.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities with a knack for influencing in various situations.
  • Capability to foster excellent relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility in approach, embracing change and driving improvements.
  • Experience with NEC3 contracts and understanding of notification processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clarity and influence client decisions.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on critical tasks.
