Plumbing and Heating Engineer Lecturer Opportunity

Wiltshire College and University Centre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team as a Lecturer. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and workshops in Plumbing and Heating Engineering.
  • Contribute to the development and update of course materials to reflect industry advancements and best practices.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching methods and curriculum development.
  • Actively participate in student recruitment, enrolment activities, and open days to promote the Plumbing and Heating Engineering programs.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing.
  • Gas competency.
  • IQA & Assessors Award or a willingness to work towards one.
  • A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Level 2 (GCSE A-C) in English and Maths or a willingness to work towards them.
  • Willingness to undertake renewables delivery training.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and technologies.
