Aerospace Buyer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join our team at GKN Aerospace. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and services for our Defence and Civil business lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials and services from suppliers in line with our commodity strategy
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
• Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives

Requirements

• Significant purchasing experience or Level 3 CIPS qualification
• Experience working with ERP systems and supplier processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
