Maintenance Person Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at Trinity Care. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs of the building, grounds, and plant room areas.
  • Oversee contractors and ensure their work meets high standards.
  • Assist with renovations and remodeling of buildings.
  • Complete a building check monthly, identifying areas for maintenance work and coordinating with PPIM for scheduling.
  • Update the maintenance schedule with the GM on a monthly basis.
  • Liaise with external contracts, including electrics, plumbing, and other services.
  • Participate in fire management and complete daily/weekly/monthly checklists for fire equipment and other systems.
  • Monitor monthly/quarterly servicing by external contractors and ensure correct scheduling of services.
  • File all service certificates in the maintenance folder.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
  • Ensure the front entrance is clean and tidy each morning.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the PIC/GM/PPIM.
Requirements:
  • Maintenance management and electrical maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
