Senior Civil Drainage Infrastructure Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced engineers to work on diverse and challenging projects within a large, multi-disciplinary international consultancy in Central London.

Job/Company Overview:

  • Position: Civil Drainage Infrastructure Engineer
  • Location: Central London
  • Salary: £38,000 - £52,000 - Depending On Experience

  • Projects: Residential, commercial, industrial, schools, hospitals.

Key Responsibilities/Experience:

  • Complex Problem Solving: Provide solutions for drainage, civil, and utility engineering challenges.
  • Infrastructure Planning and Design skills:
    • Develop conceptual drainage schemes.
    • Interpret and discharge planning conditions related to drainage, highways, and infrastructure.
    • Use 3D design software for utility clash detection analysis.
    • Develop infrastructure design packages from concept through to construction.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D and MicroDrainage for network modelling in various environments.
  • Highways Design: Familiarity with UK design standards and experience negotiating S38 and S278 applications.

Required Experience:

  • Post-Graduate Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a design consultancy or contracting environment.
  • Project Work: Experience in both single and multi-discipline projects, with a preference for those with project management experience.
