Key Responsibilities:
  • **Leadership & Management**: Lead and mentor a small team of 8 finance professionals, ensuring efficient handling of 100,000 transactions per week.
  • **Fiscal Oversight**: Maintain stringent audit controls and ensure the proper management of public funds.
  • **Data Analysis**: Analyse fiscal data to drive improved collection rates and financial performance.
  • **Reporting**: Prepare and present financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • **Stakeholder Engagement**: Engage with Private Equity (PE) houses and Venture Capitalists (VCs) as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role.
  • Strong understanding of audit controls and fiscal management of public money.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and support remote teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on improving financial performance.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting financial reports to various stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of initiative and dynamic thinking in previous roles.
  • Experience in dealing with PE houses and VCs is highly desirable.
