Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic support to students, addressing their academic, personal, and social needs.
  • Develop and implement effective support plans to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with students, staff, and external organizations to ensure seamless support and guidance.
  • Deliver workshops and tutorials to students, promoting engagement and motivation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and produce support plans to ensure student safety and well-being.
  • Lead on safeguarding cases, working closely with the local authority and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and support.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a safeguarding capacity, working with young people and vulnerable adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding legislations and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Experience of delivering student workshops or tutorials, with a focus on engagement and motivation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, with a focus on collaboration and support.
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to effectively market and record support provision.
  • A Level 4 IAG qualification or equivalent, with a focus on education, youth work, or a related field.
