Job Title: Peripatetic Housing Management Coordinator

Are you a housing management professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties? We are seeking a Peripatetic Housing Management Coordinator to join our team in Cheltenham, covering the Midlands area.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced housing management professional to join our team. As a Peripatetic Housing Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing a housing management service to our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. You will support customers to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts, with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a housing management service to customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained.
  • Support customers to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts.
  • Work with customers to identify and address any issues with their tenancy or rent accounts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other parts of the business to ensure a seamless service.
  • Use technology to create and update support plans, make benefit claims, and do tenancy sign-ups.
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties.
  • Knowledge of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
  • Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners.
What We Offer:
  • Flexible working hours (or we are open to agreeing a work pattern with you).
  • Working Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00.
  • Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims, and doing tenancy sign-ups.
  • To get from A to B, you will need a vehicle insured for business purposes. We will pay your mileage.
  • You will need an Enhanced DBS check done, and we will pay for that.
