We are excited to announce a new opportunity at Oxford Health NHS Trust for a Forensic Care Coordinator within our specialized inpatient unit.
We are in search of a dedicated professional who will collaborate with the Clinical Leadership team to advocate for nurse-led psychosocial strategies and realize our vision for exceptional inpatient care.
Key Responsibilities
You will take charge of designing and sustaining a comprehensive program of individualized and group psychosocial strategies, consistently assessing the effectiveness of these initiatives by incorporating feedback from patients and their families.
This role necessitates proactive engagement with patients, families, and caregivers to cultivate positive relationships that facilitate the delivery of psychosocial strategies.

Job Duties
This position also involves mentoring the broader nursing team to enhance their capabilities in delivering psychosocial strategies through supervision and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to provide tailored care for our patient demographic.
The ideal candidate will have completed a Brief Interventions Module (or equivalent) or be willing to pursue this at the earliest opportunity.

Essential Qualifications/Skills
- Registered mental health nurse
- Proven experience in applying psychosocial methodologies in clinical settings
- Comprehensive understanding of psychosocial strategies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Completion of a brief interventions module or equivalent OR willingness to undertake it promptly
Desirable Qualifications/Skills
- Familiarity with monitoring systems, targets, and processes in mental health
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies
- Experience in mental health nursing within secure environments
