Culinary Professional

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef to join our team at Caterpillar, North West Industrial Estate, Peterlee. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a range of meals to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting with food orders and ensuring the safety of customers and colleagues
• Checking all food for allergens and maintaining kitchen records
• Running and supervising kitchen sections to required standards
• Preparing, cooking, and serving meals to a high standard
• Completing daily paperwork and assisting with deliveries and stock checks
• Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, and hot cabinets
• Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans

Requirements:

• Relevant culinary qualification desirable
• Experience working in a kitchen at a chef level
• Allergen awareness and DBS clearance
• Excellent team player and communicator
