Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Cladding & Facades Systems

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Cladding & Facades Systems department.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to work on a range of cladding and projects in the commercial and residential sectors. The ideal candidate will have 3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying within the UK building envelope market sector and a strong understanding of subcontracts (JCT Design & Build and NEC3).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare on-time monthly valuations following site measurements and work-in-progress reviews
  • Keep track of monthly application figures and ensure relevant departments are aware of potential budget or financial constraints
  • Review labour schedules and compare to actual progress on site
  • Pricing variations and changes in line with subcontractor parameters
  • Build, manage & maintain relationships with clients, contractors, other construction professionals, suppliers, and site staff
Requirements:
  • 3 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the UK building envelope market sector
  • Experience working for a subcontractor dealing with multiple projects
  • Strong understanding of subcontracts (JCT Design & Build and NEC3)
  • Full UK driving license
  • Quantity Surveying degree (ideally)
