Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Librarian to join our team at International School Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach library classes to Preschool and Elementary School children
  • Develop, review, and revise planning in the school's curriculum mapping tool (Atlas Rubicon)
  • Participate in professional development and the after-school activities programme
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with other members of the school staff
  • Communicate effectively with parents and participate in parent conferences

Requirements:

  • Accredited degree or postgraduate qualification in library and information science
  • Preferred but not essential: Teaching Certificate, Knowledge of International Baccalaureate programmes, Experience with unit planning and development, Experience in leading extracurricular activities
  • The right to work in the UK
