About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Engineer to join our team at J-Tech Systems. As an Installation Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering top-tier Fire, Security, and Electrical solutions across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including fire and security systems, in commercial and luxury residential settings.
  • Work independently or collaboratively within a team to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a strong reputation for J-Tech Systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in installation engineering, particularly in commercial and luxury residential settings.
  • Familiarity with the latest industry standards and cutting-edge technology.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong skills in reading schematics and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to punctuality.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • Up-to-date Health and Safety training, ECS/CSCS certification.
  • An NVQ Apprenticeship or equivalent industry certification.
  • FIA or equivalent qualifications.
  • The ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
Essential Experience
  • Containment systems.
  • Intruder, CCTV, and Access system wiring and 2nd fix installation.
  • Fire system standards, wiring, and 2nd fix installation.
  • Texecom/Galaxy/Orisec.
  • Advanced/Morley/Kentec.
  • Paxton/Honeywell.
  • Hikvision/Dahua/Axis.
