Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at TRCGroup. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting palletized parcels to couriers or collecting from delivery units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Safely transport palletized parcels to couriers or collect from delivery units, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to safety and operational standards.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient operations and meet customer demands.
  • Assessment and Training: Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, and participate in paid training if assessment is successful.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Full UK driving license with Class 1 entitlement (category C), valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, and no more than 6 points on license (minor offenses only).
  • Skills and Abilities: Full understanding of WTD legislation, ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment, excellent communication skills, and a safety-first mindset.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
