Traffic Management Order Project Coordinator

We are collaborating with a Local Authority to facilitate the recruitment of a TMO Project Manager for a 7-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension based on client needs. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their CVs for consideration.

Compensation: £582.98 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of new Traffic Management Orders (TMOs) within Council Housing Estates, ensuring that parking enforcement contractors can effectively manage Penalty Charge Notices.
  • Lead the TMO project team, fostering collaboration with residents and stakeholders to meet project deadlines and align with Council policies.
  • Conduct reviews and provide recommendations for existing off-street parking policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Engage with residents to inform and consult on the establishment of Traffic Management Orders and parking enforcement measures.
  • Evaluate and authorize Traffic Management Plans.

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSE/O Level or equivalent educational background
  • Proven experience in the traffic and transportation sector, including contract management
  • Experience in financial and budget management

Additional Information:

  • Availability for immediate or short-notice work is essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K. is required.
