Paediatrician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatrician to join our team as a Community Consultant Paediatrician. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to children and families in the Mid Nottinghamshire area.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver general community paediatric clinics in the Mid Nottinghamshire area, including Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark, and Ollerton.
- Provide daytime child protection on-call services for social care requested medical assessments (section 47) for physical abuse on a rota basis.
- Develop and implement additional safeguarding, neuro-disability/SEND, appraisal/supervision, and teaching services as needed.
- MRCPCH by examination or equivalent.
- Full GMC registration.
- On the GMC's Specialist Register or within six months of CCT at the time of scheduled interview.
- Valid Level 3 Safeguarding Training and detailed knowledge of all aspects of Child Protection work.
- Higher degree, MSc, MD, PhD in Paediatrics.
- Completed Fellowship programme.
- DCH, DCCH, MBA, or other relevant diplomas.
- Experience working in NHS, children in care health assessments, clinical experience of adoption work, and wider experience, research, and training SPIN.
