Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake strategic development planning and detailed design work for infrastructure projects
  • Provide technical input into the planning process and lead detailed design and implementation of projects during the construction phase
  • Manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously, requiring strong time management and organizational skills
  • Support the wider team's financial and commercial management through robust project delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Proven record of client care and business development
  • Competent in liaising with highways, water, statutory, and local authorities
  • Relevant qualifications (Bachelor or Masters) in Civil Engineering and Chartered status
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on highways, drainage, and development infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of legal processes, planning, design, design software, technical consents process, adoption, and contract procedures
