Job Title: Deputy Headteacher - SEND Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Headteacher with a strong background in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) to join our team at an alternative provision in Thetford, Norfolk.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with pupils with SEMH and ASD, and will be able to provide leadership and guidance to our team of educators.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior leader to create their own SEND community and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of educators in providing high-quality education to pupils with SEND
  • Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEMH and ASD
  • Work closely with the Headteacher to drive the vision and mission of the alternative provision
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students

Requirements:
  • Relevant UK-based SENCO qualification
  • Substantial experience working with pupils with SEND in an education setting
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, plus a daily rate of £256 to £300 per day.

We also offer a range of benefits, including a comprehensive induction programme, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a supportive and collaborative work environment.
