About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Rehabilitation Unit at Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake and record comprehensive nursing assessments, including planning, delivering, and evaluating evidence-based care to a diverse group of patients.
  • Deliver care without direct supervision, taking accountability for the care delivered and any omissions of care.
  • Teach and supervise junior staff, students, and non-registered workforce, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support.
  • Act as a role model, delivering care with empathy and compassion as part of the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Level 1 registered nurse with valid NMC registration (or student pending registration).
  • Diploma/degree in nursing.
  • Previous experience within an acute trust, preferably in neurology or rehabilitation.
  • Good oral and written skills, with computer literacy and understanding of evidence-based practice to enhance patient care.
