The Clinical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) role is currently open within the Interior Health Authority. This is a permanent part-time position at 0.68 FTE, with a rotating schedule that includes days, evenings, and nights.

Job Responsibilities:
As an MLT, you will be part of a collaborative team environment, undertaking a variety of tasks within your designated department. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine and complex laboratory tests using both manual techniques and automated systems.
- Inputting data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and related applications.
- Validating and reporting laboratory test outcomes.
- Maintaining laboratory instruments and preparing necessary solutions and control agents.
- Participating in training, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.

The Interior Health Authority operates a medium-sized laboratory within a 75-bed acute care facility, offering Core Lab, Microbiology, Histology, and Pathology services. Our laboratory is recognized as a regional referral site for specialized testing, supported by a cohesive team of Medical Technologists and Laboratory Assistants across various disciplines.
