Senior Client Onboarding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Client Onboarding Specialist to join our team at Goodman Masson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing the client onboarding experience by managing the process internally and serving as a centre of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide oversight and control at all stages of the client onboarding journey, facing off internally with all areas of the business and clients directly to guide them through their onboarding journey.
- Maintain control of client static data to ensure its accuracy at onboarding and throughout the client relationship, considering the knock-on effects of data changes within systems from a data-hygiene and regulatory perspective.
- Identify and specify improvements to work areas, both procedural and IT-based, and work with project resources to implement these.
- Work on projects as required to cleanse data and improve processes.
- Offer guidance and assistance to junior members of the team and wider business when needed.
- Sound technical knowledge and experience in client take-on for Private Clients, Private Client structures, and Charities, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within an Asset or Wealth Manager.
- Experience onboarding into a Financial Planning environment would be advantageous.
- A working understanding of Anti Money-Laundering and compliance requirements.
- Awareness of global tax reporting standards, specifically CRS and FATCA.
- Understanding of the US QI Regulations, specifically w-series forms, and other regulations (MiFiD II, Transaction reporting, RDR, etc.).
- High standard of computer literacy to support development and maintenance of onboarding workflow tool (training provided).
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated to ensure deadlines are met.
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, to speak with clients and staff at all levels.
