Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Philanthropy and Special Events Strategy: Work proactively to secure income from high network individuals to meet agreed personal and team fundraising targets in line with the organisation's operational priorities.
- Develop and Deliver Cultivation and Stewardship Events: Assist with the development and delivery of a calendar of events to raise awareness of work, retain existing donors, and engage new prospects.
- Grow Donor Pipeline: Identify potential prospects to grow our pipeline, working alongside the Philanthropy Team, Prospect Researcher, Senior Management colleagues, and Trustees.
- Build and Manage Donor Relationships: Build, manage, and maintain a portfolio of donors from £5,000 gifts upwards, stewarding relationships to ensure donor satisfaction and long-term financial commitment, including detailed and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Manage effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues in Operations, Finance, and Fundraising colleagues, where appropriate, to develop proposals and impact reports.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of all proposal submissions and stewardship on Mission CRM.
- Travel Requirements: Available to travel to London for team days and meetings as required.
- Experience: Experience working at a similar level within a charity.
- Computer Literacy: Excellent computer literacy skills to include Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to review and analyze complex donor requirements and match them to internal priorities/projects.
- Communication Skills: First-class written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt writing style to different types of applications and articulate complex issues in a succinct and compelling way to prospective donors.
