Job Title: IT Field Engineer Installation

We are seeking a skilled IT Field Engineer to join our team at CERCO LTD. As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing IT equipment at various customer sites across the UK and worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure IT equipment, including hardware and software, at customer sites.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work closely with the IT support desk to resolve technical issues and provide feedback on support calls.
  • Liaise with account managers and customers to update them on the progress and resolution of issues.
Requirements:
  • UK driving license and own vehicle.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field (desirable).
  • Experience with Windows networking and wireless networking (desirable).
  • Logical approach to fault finding and diagnostics (desirable).
  • MCP, Cisco, or CompTIA certification (desirable).
  • Ex-military personnel and their families are encouraged to apply (desirable).

CERCO LTD operates as a Recruitment Agency/Employment Business. Training takes place at our HQ in Crewe, Cheshire or our training centre in Swansea. We recruit and place engineers throughout the UK. After passing our training course, we will look for work for you with our clients. Work cannot be guaranteed, but as we invest in your training, we will always endeavour to keep you in work.
