About the Role

As an Operations Manager at GKN Aerospace, you'll be responsible for leading a team of professionals to achieve exceptional results in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving Operational Excellence across your designated area of responsibility, aligning with our Performance Centre objectives.
  • Implementing the Lean Operating Model to achieve People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cash, and Cost targets.
  • Developing and empowering high-performing teams to create a 'Great Place to Work' culture.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, with a track record of successfully leading, engaging, training, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent workplace performance, with a focus on rigorous adherence to standardized work and Kaizen implementation.
  • Self-motivation, with a drive to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
