Outsourcing Senior Manager

As an Outsourcing Senior Manager at Grant Thornton, you will be responsible for leading our Accounting Services team in delivering a profitable service line, quality client service, and a first-class people experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with existing leadership to gain an in-depth understanding of the business and processes
- Lead and inspire our people in taking the business forward through change and growth
- Build scale in the team to meet requirements for growth and monitor ongoing resource needs
- Take the lead in achieving sustained and rapid growth through effective marketing
- Support the outsourcing manager team, fostering a culture of coaching and development and rewarding great performance
- Be approachable and accessible, providing technical support and guidance
- Be responsible for team finances and liaise with stakeholders
- Lead where necessary on the onboarding of large and complex assignments
- Be a point of escalation for clients, taking the lead in conversations where required
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA, or CIPFA)
- Extensive experience of team leadership
- Experience of onboarding and managing large outsourcing assignments
- Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
- Good knowledge of UK VAT, corporation tax, and employment tax rules
- Some experience of IFRS would be beneficial
