Our client, a leading business in the industry, is seeking a highly skilled Interim Internal Auditor to join their team on a 3-month temporary basis, with the possibility of extension. This role is fully office-based and would suit someone who is fully qualified (ACCA/ACA) and has a proven track record in Internal Audit.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Internal Auditor to take on a challenging role and make a significant impact on the company's financial governance. The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Experience in financial reporting and compliance, including tax filing and regulations
  • Proven track record in Internal Audit, with a focus on financial governance and risk management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience of working with large corporate structures and reporting processes
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel

The Interim Internal Auditor will be responsible for:

  • Preparing corporate statutory accounting in accordance with company deadlines and liaising with company auditors
  • Maintaining and developing compliance controls
  • Working closely with the external Auditors
  • Handling queries from the external Auditors and resolving any issues
  • Overseeing the work of the team
