Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician – Facilities Management

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently in search of a Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations within a commercial environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of electrical systems across multiple sites, demonstrating a solid understanding of Facilities Management principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly report to the Operations Manager
  • Support the Operations Manager in the daily management of maintenance activities
  • Oversee maintenance personnel on various contracts
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in collaboration with the Operations Manager
  • Coordinate with specialized subcontractors as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and site logbooks in conjunction with the Operations Manager
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements through proper documentation
  • Participate in client meetings when necessary
  • Conduct lighting maintenance including installations, fault diagnosis, and lamp replacements
  • Perform emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
  • Manage air conditioning systems including filter changes and cleaning
  • Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) for temperature control
  • Supervise an apprentice on-site
  • Manage SFG 20 logbooks
  • Conduct water treatment tasks including temperature testing and flushing

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
  • Standard hours from 08:00 to 17:00
  • Overtime opportunities available
  • 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays
  • Additional day off for your birthday
Qualifications
  • Electrical Certifications – Level 2/3 – NVQ or City & Guilds Equivalent
  • 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Willingness to work across multiple locations
  • Multi-skilled capabilities
  • Client-facing and professional demeanor
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial property maintenance
  • Dependable, hardworking, and trustworthy
