About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join our EMEA Energy Transition team. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for driving business development in Europe, focusing on the energy transition and renewable energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with key industry customers, AWS account teams, and strategic industry partners to develop and execute business strategies.
  • Attend and speak at industry events to build repeatable industry solutions and create new business opportunities for AWS.
  • Work closely with AWS solutions architects and partner teams to develop and promote cloud patterns and solutions for the vertical.
  • Collaborate with the AWS product and services teams to evolve AWS offerings for rapid adoption by new energy customers.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
