About the Role
We are seeking an organised and efficient individual to join our busy ward team as a Ward Clerk. As a key member of the team, you will provide effective administrative support to the wards and senior clinicians.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate patient records and files, ensuring confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
- Prepare admission packs and update patient information systems as required.
- Assist in other clinical areas of the hospital as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Utilize IT systems to document information and maintain accurate record-keeping standards.
Requirements
- Strong IT literacy, with a good understanding of Microsoft packages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various departments and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
