About the Role

Based in their Northumberland facility, our client is in search of a Quality Assurance Technician/Inspector to work during day shifts.

Main Responsibilities

- Conducting inspections of incoming goods.

- Performing in-house inspections and monitoring shop floor activities.

- Maintaining and organizing the calibration of internal measuring instruments through accredited external sources.

- Managing client MNC/CAR registers on customer platforms.

- Operating the Mitutoyo CMM machine daily with MCOSMOS-1 Version 3.3.R2 (programming skills are advantageous but not mandatory).

- Carrying out final inspections and verifying the quality of parts before shipment.

About You


To qualify for this position, it is crucial to have proven experience in quality assurance, either as a Technician or Inspector, within an engineering or fabrication environment.

Our client is looking for a quality-focused professional who can thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You should possess solid quality inspection experience, a systematic approach, and effective communication skills.
