About the Role

Cora Partners is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our household operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our private estate in Virginia Water, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the estate's heating and boiler systems, including ground source and air source heat pumps, thermostats, and underfloor heating.
  • Decorative Services: Provide painting and decorating services as required to maintain the estate's high standards.
  • Roof and Gutter Maintenance: Ensure the estate's roofs and gutters are clear of debris and functioning properly.
  • Drain and Septic Tank Management: Check and maintain the estate's drains and septic tanks, arranging for external contractors as necessary.
  • Electrical Systems: Check the function of electrical items throughout the estate, including lights, Wi-Fi, TVs, Sonos, air conditioning units, and kitchen appliances.
  • Security Systems: Regularly test fire and security systems, including alarms and CCTV.
  • Errand Running: Assist the household team with errands and tasks as required.
  • Gardening and Grounds Maintenance: Perform leaf blowing, gardening, and other tasks to maintain the estate's grounds.
  • Heavy Lifting and Moving: Assist with heavy lifting and moving of furniture, boxes, and other items.
  • Event Support: Assist with setting up events and cleaning hard-to-reach areas.
  • Wood Chopping and Firewood Management: Chop wood and fill firewood baskets as required.
  • Bike Maintenance: Clean and service the estate's bikes.
  • Boat Maintenance: Check and maintain the estate's boat.
  • Gutter Cleaning and Window Maintenance: Clean gutters and windows, and maintain the estate's skylights.
  • Contractor Management: Arrange for external contractors to visit the estate as necessary.
  • Garden Irrigation: Ensure the estate's garden irrigation system is functioning properly.
Requirements
  • UK Passport or Right to Work: Hold a valid UK passport or have the right to work in the UK.
  • Valid Driving Licence: Possess a valid driving licence.
  • Highly Skilled and Flexible: Be highly skilled, flexible, and a team player.
Working Hours and Location

Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:30. The estate is located in Virginia Water, Surrey.

Salary

£40,000 per annum.
