Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Machine Technician to join our dynamic team at Industrious Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production machinery while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor multiple production lines, ensuring compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency and waste management.
  • Facilitate smooth product flow through the manufacturing process.
  • Identify and distinguish between high-quality and substandard products.
  • Conduct product changeovers effectively, collaborating with team members to minimize downtime.
  • Promptly report any irregularities to the Team Leader or designated personnel to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively and address issues as they arise in a timely manner.
  • Uphold a strong work ethic to optimize production line speeds consistently.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the workplace.
  • Immediately report any health and safety concerns to the Team Leader or Production Manager.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your work area by adhering to operational excellence principles.
  • Perform quality checks and critical control points (CCPs) in accordance with established procedures, documenting findings accurately.
  • Utilize the AX SharePoint system for accurate record-keeping of all checks.
  • Ensure proper documentation is utilized in alignment with the respective products.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse personnel to ensure adequate stock levels of materials and adherence to traceability and stock rotation protocols.

Shift Details

  • Availability required every other weekend.
  • Rotating shifts: 6 AM to 6 PM and 6 PM to 6 AM.
  • Work schedule includes 2-3 days on followed by 2-3 nights off.
