Executive Chef

Job Summary:

COREcruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our client's high-volume chain restaurant in Boston. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Monitor sanitation practices and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Manage food and supplies purchasing, maintaining targeted cost controls.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume chain restaurant.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage kitchen operations.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.
