HR Advisor Opportunity at Lloyd Recruitment - East Grinstead

Lloyd Recruitment Services is excited to partner with a well-established business in East Grinstead, seeking an HR Advisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Purpose of the Role:

To support the HR department in recruitment, policies, procedures, performance management, and employee wellbeing across various offices, ensuring the company has skilled and motivated employees to meet its long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full recruitment process with the HR Manager, including resource planning, job adverts, interviews, and liaising with agencies.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding, such as preparing offer packs, issuing contracts, and verifying work eligibility.
  • Oversee the leaver process, including conducting exit interviews.
  • Help with SMS communications to fill temporary staff positions as needed.
  • Work with Regional Managers on staffing strategies and recommend solutions for employee shortages.
  • Ensure accurate personnel records and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Review and update HR policies with the HR Manager, ensuring they are available to all staff.
  • Support Regional Managers with employee performance, welfare, and development, visiting offices as required.
  • Liaise with Occupational Health providers and maintain relevant records.
  • Continuously assess and improve HR administrative processes with the HR Manager.
  • Deputise for the HR Manager when needed.
  • Assist with induction and training events to ensure staff are receiving appropriate development.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Word, and Excel.
  • Full UK driving licence (travel required).
