Global Internship Program:

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for students to join our 2025 Global Internship Program as a Laboratory Analyst Intern in our Bioanalytical Operations team.

About the Team:

The Bioanalytical Operations team is responsible for determining the level of unknown drug concentrations in both animal and human samples. We use Mass Spectrometers to generate the data we produce. Our team is responsible for developing and validating methods used in the department, ensuring they are robust and fit for purpose before sample analysis begins.

Internship Assignment Summary:

  • Conduct experimental aspects of studies, including stock preparation, intermediate preparation, spiking of known concentrations, and sample/LTS batch extractions to high scientific standards and in compliance with GLP.
  • Maintain the Bioanalysis department in accordance with Company standards.
  • Responsibility for the generation of the raw data for the assigned study.
  • Responsibility for providing on-time data for the Lead Scientists to ensure data is delivered to clients within the timelines agreed.
  • Ensure individual housekeeping responsibilities are completed on time.
  • Develop a working knowledge of study types conducted within the department and perform experimental tasks according to Protocols, methodology, and SOPs.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical sciences, Biology, Pharmaceutical sciences, or Forensic science.
  • Display great time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all colleagues.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word.
