The Role

We are seeking a Cloud Manager to join our growing IT team. As a Cloud Manager, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans for Azure resources, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime during outages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disaster Recovery and Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for Azure resources, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime during outages.
  • Cloud Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to align Azure cloud resources with the organization's IT and business strategies, driving innovation and growth.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, setting performance baselines and responding promptly to incidents.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Azure trends and best practices, seeking opportunities to enhance the efficiency, security, and performance of the Azure environment.
  • Resource Management: Lead and manage a team of onshore and offshore cloud engineers, overseeing daily activities, setting performance expectations, and ensuring alignment with the Azure strategy.

Requirements

  • Strong technical expertise in various Azure services, including Azure Resource Management, Identity and Access Management, Networking, Security, Virtual Machines, SQL Database, DevOps, Kubernetes Service (AKS), and more.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing a team of cloud engineers.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud resources with business strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in resolving complex technical issues.
