About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team, developing and implementing safe moving and handling procedures, training and supporting staff, and evaluating the effectiveness of these procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality training programs for staff, focusing on best practices for patient and staff safety.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality patient care in various clinical settings, providing advice on complex cases and patient safety.
  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify and mitigate manual handling risks, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to develop proactive working procedures and strategies to reduce manual handling risk.
  • Promote health, safety, and wellbeing of employees, aligning with the organization's objectives.
Requirements
  • Registered Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Nurse, or Midwife with a recognized teaching and assessing qualification.
  • Nationally recognized manual handling or inanimate load handling certificate or relevant experience.
  • Evidence of professional development and ability to work within a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Experience delivering learning and development programs, supporting organizational change, and applying risk management principles.
