About the Role

Rutherford is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fund Formation Associate to join their growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a build-out from the ground up with strong support from a well-established US parent company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formation and structuring of various types of investment funds.
  • Advise on regulatory matters including Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities, and other relevant regulations.
  • Significant exposure to clients/pitching and strategy.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified solicitor with 1-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), with a strong background in fund formation or regulatory work with a funds emphasis.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to engage in varied work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
