We are seeking a Maintenance Engineering Manager to lend expertise and direction to our UK&I Service Centres and plant maintenance teams. Your role will involve nurturing the team and spearheading enhancements in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Optimal Maintenance Practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee the utmost safety standards at each service centre
  • Conduct audits to ensure safe equipment operation
  • Comply with all engineering and site service legislative requirements
  • Adhere to all electrical and mechanical regulations
  • Offer strategic guidance on maintenance protocols and standards
  • Implement and sustain the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Align maintenance strategies with other regions
  • Ensure the availability of essential spare parts
  • Support Technical Training initiatives
  • Act as Electrical Duty Holder
  • Create and maintain a central technical reference library

Requirements:

  • Relevant Engineering Qualification (HNC or Degree level)
  • Machinery Safety Certification
  • Engineering Maintenance Certification
  • Experience in the manufacturing or process sectors
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Experience with Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM)
  • Experience in Biomass operations is a plus
