Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Engineering Manager to join our team in Emerging Markets. As a critical member of the Project Management Team, you will be responsible for all technical aspects of the scope, providing technical advice and guidance to the project to meet NOV and client expectations, aims, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute engineering work for dedicated projects, including technical areas such as Process, Electrical, Instrument & Control, Telecoms, Mechanical, Piping-Layout, 3D modeling, and Structure.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other members of the Engineering Management Group and departments within NOV, such as BD, sales, and Life Cycle Services to further the value offering of NOV Process Systems.
  • Maximize tender winning chances by continuously working with BD&S, technology team, procurement, engineering, and management to optimize technical tender solutions and concept from handover from BD&S to submission.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years' experience in a similar role / level of responsibility managing multidiscipline engineering teams in EPC projects.
  • Strong familiarity with the interfaces between engineering, procurement, and fabrication of process/utility/topside modules and skids that consist of rotating & static equipment, piping, valves, instrumentation, and ancillary equipment.
  • Ability to manage the technical side of a project and solve detailed engineering problems, making prioritization as you go.
  • Good commercial understanding and ability to identify priorities and key activities to meet both technical and commercial milestones.
