About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Layer to join our team at Mears, where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of your local community. As a Floor Layer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality floor laying services to domestic and commercial premises, while adhering to relevant safety regulations and departmental procedures.

This role requires a strong ability to prepare and lay various types of flooring, including polysafe flooring, floor tiles, Lino, Cap & Cove, Carpets screening, and carpentry. You will also be responsible for programming and maintaining work within domestic and commercial premises, as well as tracing, diagnosing, and rectifying faults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience of working within the Building Construction and Maintenance Industry.
  • Ability to prepare and lay various types of flooring.
  • Programming and maintaining work within domestic and commercial premises.
  • Strong ability in tracing, diagnosing, and rectifying faults.
  • Must hold a full UK driving license.
