Residential Children's Support Worker

We are partnering with a leading provider of children's services to offer a permanent position for a Residential Children's Worker in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire.
This role involves working as part of a team to provide support to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties within a children's home.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive employer with genuine opportunities for career progression.
The successful candidate will work 38 hours per week plus additional sleep-ins, with a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per year, dependent on qualifications, and sleep-ins paid at £50 per sleep.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support using a person-centred approach.
- Support children to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family.
- Encourage children to integrate with the local community by attending clubs or day centres.
- Support children in all aspects of their daily living.
- Safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm.
- Commit to continuous professional development.
- Be willing to cover other homes when required.
- Liaise with parents and/or carers and other professionals.
- Casual dress policy.
- Enrolment onto level 3 if not already qualified.
